Using ChickUP responsibly
These guidelines apply to ChickUP accounts, layer-farm operations, access, and synced health records.
Authorized use
Use ChickUP only with accounts and layer-farm records you are authorized to manage. Keep each farm's information within its approved operational context.
Owner and farmer access
Owners manage farmer access through invitations. Farmers accept verified invitations and use the Android workflow for their assigned farm access.
Health indicators
Synced disease indicators help owners review farm health activity. They do not replace veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency guidance.
Responsible use
Protect your sign-in details. Do not bypass farm-scoped access, misuse another account, or submit records you are not authorized to process.
Accurate records
Check the farm, coop, optional flock, and capture details before syncing. Do not intentionally submit false, misleading, or incorrectly assigned records.
Offline capture and sync
Android capture can continue offline, but pending records do not appear on the owner dashboard until sync succeeds. Review sync status when connectivity returns.
Information stewardship
Only collect or share account, farm, and scan information that you are permitted to handle. Avoid adding unnecessary personal or confidential details.
Access changes
Owners should review farm access and deactivate memberships that are no longer needed. Invitations and assigned access must not be transferred to another person.
